Pegasus Energy Partners PV Development along Eastern Alameda County Border

DFN: Pegasus Energy Partners is planning to build a PV plant near Mountain House along the eastern border of Alameda County. This project is interesting from a number of perspectives:

1. Its close in to a major urban center
2. I would have thought it would require approvals by the California Energy Commission and not just Alameda County
3. It has to be all on private property, aka, a real estate track that won’t go to house, instead it will go to solar
4. At 2,000 acres producing 400MW, the panels have to be jam packed; rule of thumb is 7acres per MW, this equates to 2,800 acres
5. Location in northern climate zone, not notorius for its solar radiation content, though eastern Alameda, better than along the Bay
